Product Description

The RO membrane sheet is the active layer at the heart of every spiral-wound element — the thin-film composite that actually separates dissolved salts from water. WECOME supplies polyamide TFC flat sheet membrane in roll form, ready to slit, fold and roll into 1812 to 8040 elements.

Also known as RO flat sheet membrane, TFC membrane sheet or simply RO sheet, it is available in several grades from high-rejection to ultra-low-pressure. Because the sheet sets the ceiling for an element’s performance, consistent quality is essential — see how it influences results in our guide on material quality and element performance, and full specs in the flat sheet membrane data sheet.

Key Features

High salt rejectionUp to 99.5% depending on grade.
Durable TFC structureCorrosion-resistant for extended operation.
Multiple gradesHigh-rejection through ultra-low-pressure.

Applications

The RO membrane sheet is the core material for spiral-wound element production:

  • Household and industrial RO membrane element manufacturing
  • Rolling into 1812, 2521, 3013, 4040 and 8040 elements
  • Brackish-water and seawater desalination elements
  • Drinking-water and industrial wastewater treatment elements
  • OEM and bulk membrane supply for element factories

Custom Options

We can match the membrane to your element design and performance target:

  • Grade selection — high-rejection to ultra-low-pressure
  • Cut-to-size and slitting to your leaf width
  • Bulk roll supply and ongoing OEM contracts
  • Performance matching to your target rejection and flux
  • Technical support on grade selection

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of RO membrane sheet do you supply?

We supply polyamide thin-film composite (TFC) flat sheet membrane in roll form, in several grades from high-rejection (up to 99.5%) to ultra-low-pressure, suitable for rolling into 1812 to 8040 elements.

Which water types is it suitable for?

The membrane is used for brackish water, seawater desalination, drinking-water treatment and industrial wastewater, with grade selected to your feed water and performance target.

Can the membrane be cut to size or supplied in bulk?

Yes. We supply bulk rolls and can slit or cut to your leaf width, with ongoing OEM supply and technical support on grade selection.

Do you supply the other materials and machines to make elements?

Yes. WECOME supplies the full range of RO element materials — membrane sheet, permeate carrier, feed spacer, central tubes, brine seals, end caps, glue and tape — plus the machines to produce elements. We do not sell finished elements.
