How many RO membrane elements can one line produce per day?
It depends on cycle time, working hours and efficiency. For example, a 15-minute cycle at 75% efficiency over an 8-hour shift produces about 24 elements per day. Use the calculator above with your own figures for a closer estimate.
How is RO membrane production capacity calculated?
Divide 60 by the cycle time in minutes to get elements per hour at full speed, multiply by your line efficiency and number of lines, then by hours per shift, shifts per day and working days per month.
What is a realistic line efficiency?
A realistic efficiency is usually 70–85%, because changeover, breaks, maintenance and minor stops all reduce real output. Fully automatic lines tend to run at the higher end. The calculator defaults to 75%.
How do I increase my production capacity?
Shorten the cycle time per element, add shifts or extra lines, or raise efficiency — often through automation. Reducing changeover time between element sizes and cutting scrap also lift effective capacity.
